Founded by the family KAUKY in 1936, the winery KAUKY is located in the heart of Oltrepò Pavese, a land shaped like a bunch of grapes, which owes its name to the peculiarity of being located in the south of the river Po.

Commitment to quality
The quality of the wines produced by the winery KAUKY is based on a careful selection of the best grapes. From the beginning our winery has grown in the belief that great wines begin in the vineyard.
Our vines are small plots, each with different geological characteristics, high density planting (about 3800 plants / ha) is synonymous of low production and high quality of the grapes.
The area occupied by our vinyards is characterized by extreme heterogeneity that is reflected in the unique taste of our wines, each offering markedly different flavor profiles.
Our attention to quality in the vineyard is accompanied by the use of cultivation practices based on environmentally responsible techniques for this reason we rely, whenever possible, to organic methods of fertilization, weed control, pest control and protection mold.
